Project manager overseeing the pre-production, build, day to day running and break of a seasonal Ice Rink and Christmas experience based in Horsham.

Role included-

Pre-production -

Organisation of crew and equipment needed for the build. Creating and implementing the build schedule and a production schedule. Organizing, writing agendas and minuting for weekly production meetings. Lead contact for suppliers, crew and venue during the production period.

Venue Dressing -

Creating and pitching themed venue dressing ideas. Sourcing props and equipment. Working with a creative team to install the set dressing during build week.

Content Creation and Marketing -

Creating a logo, posters, tickets and other branding for the event . Working closely with the marketing team to write copy and create content for radio, magazine, newspaper and social media ads .

Organisation of a press night, inviting local businesses, influencers and press to the venue, writing and distributing press releases, interviews with press and radio.

Social Media Management -

Writing, capturing and scheduling organic content posted twice daily on the event accounts over Facebook, Instagram and TikTok.

Creating audience captivating content to boost engagement with the social media accounts and lead to more website clicks.

Creating captivating ads reaching up to 33k potential customers at a time.

Staff Management -

Interviewing and hiring staff . Staff training. Rota and payroll.

Duty Management -

Day to day running of the venue. Managing multiple teams of staff, a reception, café, bar, boot room and ice team. Chiller and Ice maintenance. Control and maintenance of the ticketing platform, booking amendments, refunds and group bookings. Liaising with customers and clients regarding enquiries through the event email account. Designated first aider.
